B1 Tip
When talking about your life experiences, remember:

- I have never flown in a helicopter.
Past Simple = specific past event
- I visited Germany in 2024.
- I tried skiing last winter.
- I flew in a helicopter when I was 18.
A useful pattern for conversations is:
Have you ever + past participle?
- Have you ever lived abroad?
- Have you ever met a famous person?
- Have you ever learned another language?
This pattern is extremely common in everyday English at the B1 level.
